As the unprecedented impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic evolve, we all face difficult challenges and uncertainties. Bernstein Management Corporation operates on a deeply held philosophy that people come first. This crisis has disrupted lives and we are humbled by the strength of our community. In response to some of the stressors created by the COVID-19 emergency, the BMC Cares Fund has been launched to provide financial support to BMC residents who need it most.
ABOUT THE BMC CARES FUND
The BMC Cares Fund was established with initial funding provided by the Diane & Norman Bernstein Foundation, Bernstein Management Corporation (BMC), and its affiliated ownership entity, BDC Properties. As of April 15th, the fund contains $1 million. The purpose of this fund is to provide residents most affected by COVID-19 with $500 per person and up to $2,000 per household to help bridge the gap in meeting immediate life expenses including but not limited to groceries, medication, and bills. We are partnering with two local non-profit organizations, Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) and The Greater Washington Community Foundation, to review applications and distribute funds to residents with the greatest demonstrated needs during this time.
HOW TO APPLY
If you are a resident of a Bernstein Management Corporation building and have been significantly impacted by COVID-19, please apply using the online application.
[UPDATE: Application Closed as of May 22, 2020]
