Bernstein Management Corporation (BMC), a regional leader in real estate management and investment, has welcomed Emily VanHuysen as Senior Vice President Accounting and Finance. In this role, Emily will manage the accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis of BMC’s portfolio of 5,800+ units and over 3.3 million square feet of commercial space, in addition to related funds.
Prior to joining BMC, Ms.VanHuysen served as Vice President, Head of Finance Strategy & Chief of Staff to the Chief Financial Officer of PenFed Credit Union. Ms.VanHuysen brings more than 20 years of finance, real estate and banking experience to BMC, including prior roles at Hilton, The Carlyle Group, Fannie Mae and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. VanHuysen graduated with a Bachelors of Accountancy from The George Washington University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
