Nearly 60 years ago, Norman Bernstein fought against racial inequality in publicly calling for civil rights laws and fair housing equality. Motivated by the discrimination he experienced as a child of Jewish Russian immigrants, he felt passionate about these issues and stood up for his convictions with courage in many ways. As Norman Bernstein’s 100th birthday approaches in January and amidst a continuing fight for equality and justice, Bernstein Management Corporation CEO, Josh Bernstein, continues his father’s legacy by writing his story in The Washington Post.
